The design of the Deane planter is an inspiration from a cord-quilted bed cover made in England or Ireland around 1730 to 1750. The original pattern from the WILLIAMSBURG collection is an oval shaped lattice design that alternates the garland branches at six inch intervals.
Our planter features the lattice in slate blue on a glazed porcelain oval shape. The interior is glazed to hold water for flowers or plants. Scaled for mantles, dining tables, consoles or bookcases--the pattern on the planter is a classic. Accents of solid brass feet.
Inside opening is: 7" x 16" oval
